The Estate Sale Process
My goal is to take the burden off your shoulders and set
your mind at ease.
Your only responsibility will be to remove the cherished
items you and your family wish to keep. Remember to look through cabinets, drawers, garages, attics and every little corner. Once you’ve completed this process,
leave the rest to me.
No need to clean or dispose of what you might consider
trash. I’ll take care of everything.
Preparing for the Sale
Once you have selected the items you would like to keep, I
will go through the entire home, including any additional buildings or garages, to collect, clean and organize for the sale.
Items will be gathered, displayed and merchandised for optimal results. I professionally stage each room and location, and I carefully research pricing for special items.
I take the utmost care in protecting your property by preparing signage for visitors, carpet and wall protection.
During and After the Sale
Advertising your sale is key! We use several online resources,
social media and sometimes newspapers to announce your sale. The sale may last 3 to 4 days depending on the amount of inventory.
I personally oversee all large items being removed from the property. This protects your walls, floors and other furniture from damage by careless movers. I also offer a unique inventory service for your more valuable items, and each one is logged when sold for reporting purposes.
Once the sale is over, we will you provide you options for remaining items (if any). This may include donation to the charity of your choice (receipt provided), or disposal.
Finally, your property is cleaned one more time, including
removal of any trash, vacuum/sweep/mop the floors and clean all counter tops before returning your keys to a clean empty home.
